The senior component sub system manager is head of projects and bids for interior components in North America and is accountable for the quality, cost and delivery achievement of all projects and bids in compliance with the component development site (CDS) interiors commitments.
The manager will lead and coordinate a team of project and bid managers across multiple project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:

Proper transfer from tender to project

Definition of project objectives and main drivers (product/service performance, planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the contract

Resources management & recurring / non-recurring cost achievements

Review project staffing and cost associated

Accountable to manage supplier budget
-
Escalate when needed
-
Leading the CDS interior development team and governance for projects and bids

Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project/tender goals.

Engage project/bid teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships

Synchronize internal partners and external parties
-
Drive the internal development schedule and supplier planning

Alignment with contractual requirements, management of variation orders and change management coordination

Proactive risk, saving and opportunity management
-
Ensures that design for quality process, design reviews and standard CDS Interiors key processes are applied
-
Manage first deliveries, missing parts (shortages), retrofit configuration and application.

Coordinate the Return of Experience from tender/project phase and share/implement best practices within the CDS Interiors organization
Knowledge & Experience:
- 5 years experience in project management in high mix / low volumes industries
- Able to demonstrate animation skills of cross-functional skills
- Capable to anticipate issues and to be proactive
- Ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline
- Able to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization structure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English
