Promotes and sells BMO Assurance life insurance products by contacting prospects by phone and supporting inbound calls. Drives sales growth and meets individual targets. Delivers the desired client experience to customers and prospects.
- Accelerates premium growth by maximizing opportunities with all clients to enhance cross-selling sales activities, referrals and client retention.
- Follows authorized scripts, processes and procedures used in the course of conducting business activities.
- Manages complex cases & high end sales.
- Provides superior client experience and service.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
- Applies for and/or maintains life insurance and accident & sickness insurance licenses; satisfies Continuing Education and Errors and Omissions Insurance requirements, as directed.
- Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Provide answers to technical questions regarding life insurance necessary for the licensed agents to perform their duties.
- Ensures the timely development of program scripting, objection handling and training.
- Ensures all legal and compliance issues related to sales are met.
- Identifies business needs, designs/develops tools and training programs; may include delivery of training to audiences.
- Supports the achievement of the business plan.
- Supports the delivery of the desired client experience to enhance business opportunities.
- Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders to build capability and drive business growth.
- Adheres to all legal and compliance requirements in the course of conducting business activities.
- Completes necessary administrative functions, as assigned (sales reports, follow up on pending business, etc.).
- Focus may be on a business/group.
- Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works mostly independently.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid AMF license and Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) is beneficial.
- Experience in a call center environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of life insurance products; life insurance product application; life insurance law, compliance and regulations.
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
- Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
- Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
- Influence skills - In-depth.
You’re fluent in French and English as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.
Salary:
$43 200,00 - $80 300,00
Pay Type:
Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
