In between the pet cuddles, excited sniffs and belly rubs, other duties include:
- Performing cash related functions, sales processing – debit, credit transaction, opening/end of day closing related activities and handling general customer inquiries
- Preparing merchandise orders, prepare banking deposits and other miscellaneous paperwork.
- Ensuring that the safety standards, procedures and protocols with regard to sale floor is maintained i.e., Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance activities
- Assisting in replenishing and stocking the shelves after receiving deliveries/as needed of pet food, supplies and accessories up to 50LBS.
- Other duties and tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Previous retail or guest service experience is desirable.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Flexible schedule based on business needs this may include openings, closings, and weekends.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software is desirable.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results for your store by achieving set goals.
- Possess outgoing and friendly personality with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively without assistance.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from the store
