About the role

IREN is a leading AI Cloud Service Provider, delivering large-scale GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s vertically integrated platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way - responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

We are seeking a Delivery Coordinator to join our Technical Delivery team in Vancouver, BC. This mid-level role is the operational backbone of IREN’s HPC infrastructure delivery function who will own gate tracking, change ticket management, delivery scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to ensure every AI infrastructure deployment progresses on time, on quality, and with full evidence at every stage.

The Delivery Coordinator will work directly under the Sr. Manager, Technical Delivery and acts as the day-to-day execution hub between delivery teams, vendors, data center operations, and engineering seeing that nothing falls through the gaps between gate sign-off and production handoff.

  • 1-3 years of experience in IOC, NOC, SRE‑adjacent operations, systems analysis, or technical support roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical delivery, project coordination, or operations coordination role within a data center, HPC, cloud, or infrastructure environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing and tracking delivery gates, project milestones, or deployment schedules in a structured, evidence-based environment
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM and ticketing platforms JIRA preferred; ServiceNow or equivalent acceptable for project management controls
  • Experience working with metrics, logs, and alerting systems across infrastructure or application environments
  • Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus-style metrics)
  • Working knowledge of change management frameworks, including Standard Change classification, change approval workflows, and evidence capture requirements
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple concurrent workstreams including vendors, DC technicians and engineering without losing track of dependencies or blockers
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline seeing to evidence completeness, ticket accuracy, and gate record integrity
  • Experience producing delivery status reports, risk registers, and schedule tracking outputs for leadership visibility
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic delivery environment where priorities can shift with hardware arrivals, site readiness, or engineering dependencies
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Other important requirements

  • This role operates in a delivery environment aligned to active data center build schedules and may require flexibility around hardware delivery windows, vendor attendance, or gate milestones

  • Own JIRA Epics for gate tracking across all active deployments ensuring ticket accuracy, evidence completeness, and gate sign-off status for every delivery milestone in flight

  • Manage and coordinate gate activities managing Change tickets where required and ensuring correct classification (Standard or Normal), supporting evidence is captured, and gate sign-off authority is confirmed before progression

  • Maintain the delivery schedule by tracking hardware arrivals, gate prerequisites, vendor commitments, and site readiness against planned milestones and flagging variances to the Sr. Manager

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery dependencies including synchronization of vendor delivery status, aligning data center operations and engineering teams to resolve blockers and maintain momentum across active gates

  • Maintain the delivery risk register by tracking open risks, issue owners, and mitigation status; escalating to the Sr. Manager where risks threaten schedule or quality

  • Produce delivery status reporting showing gate completion status, milestone tracking, schedule variances, and risk summaries for leadership and stakeholder visibility

  • Maintain delivery documentation standards by ensuring JIRA tickets, gate records, CMDB records and evidence packages meet audit and change management requirements consistent with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 frameworks

  • Prepare documentation for delivery handoff (Service Transition) activities

  • Support continuous improvement of SOPs, workflows and dashboards
