Schedule : 2 Week Shift Rotation
We are seeking a skilled Flatline Technician to operate and maintain our Superfici paint line. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality finished products while supporting production flow, equipment reliability, and a strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities Safety & Workplace Standards
- Follow all safety procedures, including required PPE, lockout practices, and safe chemical handling.
Machine Operation & Production
- Complete visual inspections prior to machine start-up.
- Perform machine start-up, shut-down, colour changes, and line purging.
- Prepare and maintain spray guns, pumps, etc.
- Organize work priorities in coordination with the Lead Hand to support production flow.
- Clean and maintain spray equipment, pumps, filters, and work areas.
- Communicate job priorities, material needs, and colour requirements with Feeders, Catchers, Paint Mixers, and Lead Hand.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished product for defects.
- Ensure high-quality finishes with proper coverage, smooth surfaces, and consistent colour.
- Complete required quality checks, weight tests, pressure settings, and production paperwork.
What You Bring
- Experience in industrial painting, finishing, or automated production environments is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand production paperwork.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with PLC-controlled equipment.
- Team-oriented, flexible, understands their influence on the team, takes responsibility for their actions.
- Ability to work in a production environment.
