Your role Do you have a love for community and conversation? Do you live and breathe social media? We’re looking for someone with a passion for storytelling that will connect with diverse audiences. You are a strong social listener who has their finger on the point of current online discourse and trends. You apply creativity and storytelling to our posts and build engagement through a data-driven social media strategy. Working as a valued member of the Marketing team, the Specialist plans, develops, publishes and measures organic and paid social media content that supports the company’s business goals and sector strategies, recruitment efforts and employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, manage, and measure a B2B social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, social media listening, and audience identification Curate a social media presence that builds meaningful connections and encourages community engagement Plan, create and share engaging, relevant social media content and campaigns that drive traffic to our website and support our marketing campaigns (via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube) Create an employee advocacy program that holistically integrates with our internal communications and employee engagement efforts Capture and analyze social media analytics, and act on those insights to continuously improve Qualifications Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent work experience Three to five years of experience working in social media, digital communications or a similar role Demonstrated experience developing and executing B2B social media strategies Strong understanding of organic and paid social media best practices, particularly on LinkedIn Experience planning, writing, publishing and measuring social media content and campaigns Proficiency with social media management employee advocacy platforms Demonstrated ability to interpret social media analytics and translate insights into recommendations Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, platforms and objectives Excellent editing and proofreading skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Don’t have every single qualification? Approximate Salary Range for Role: $55,000 to $70,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training #LI-DV1
