This dynamic role supports both vape/tobacco and cannabis retail operations, while also fulfilling responsibilities during keyholder shifts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome and assist all customers with professionalism and warmth
- Provide accurate, helpful product knowledge for both vape/tobacco and cannabis offerings
- Ensure a high level of customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product education
- Demonstrate that guest service is the top priority by responding with urgency and courtesy
- Confidently upsell and cross-sell products to achieve personal and store sales goals
- Work collaboratively with the management and sales team to maximize revenue
- Handle customer feedback or concerns in a professional, service-oriented manner
Store Operations & Compliance
- Ensure proper age verification (19+) for all customers in accordance with AGCO and Smoke-Free Ontario Act regulations
- Follow all compliance procedures for cannabis and tobacco product handling, display, and sales
- Maintain store cleanliness and participate in daily cleaning, restocking, and general upkeep
- Support with inventory control, including receiving shipments, organizing stock, and rotating product
- Participate in store events, safety inspections, and internal audits
Keyholder Duties (as assigned)
- Open and close the store in accordance with security and operational procedures
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and reporting
- Lead the sales floor in the absence of a manager and delegate tasks appropriately
- Ensure adherence to all store policies and safety protocols during your shift
- Act as a point of contact for staff and customers during keyholder shift
Qualifications:
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid CannSell Certification required (must be provided prior to start date)
- 1+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a regulated industry
- Experience handling cash and operating a POS system
- Previous keyholder or leadership experience is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift on tiled surfaces
- Frequent reaching, bending, and lifting boxes of stock (up to 40 lbs)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated retail environment

Our operating hours are 7 days a week and may range from 9am to 8:30pm
Part-time hours range : 00- 31 hours per week
Full- time hours range : 32 – 44 hours per week
