Your role
- Participating in geotechnical design and analysis for a wide range of Major Projects in transportation and Energy sectors.
- Performing geotechnical calculations such as bearing capacity, settlement analysis, slope stability, soil liquefaction, and earth pressures.
- Supporting numerical modelling studies and advanced analyses for major projects, as required.
- Preparing high‑quality technical reports, design documentation, drawings, specification and deliverables in accordance with AtkinsRéalis standards.
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals for professional services, including scope definition and technical input.
- Collaborating closely with civil, structural, environmental, and construction teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Supporting field investigations and interpreting subsurface data, including laboratory and in‑situ testing results.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, mentoring of junior staff, and continuous improvement within the geotechnical practice.
About You
- Degree in civil, geological, or geotechnical engineering. Must eligible to P.Eng. across provinces in Canada.
- 8 to 20+ years of relevant experience, experience on Major Project design team is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of specialized software (Plaxis, GeoStudio, FLAC, etc.).
- A solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, including foundations, earthworks, slope stability, and ground improvement
- Recognized leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Information Expected compensation for this role is between $115 - $165,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
