Role Description

The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Lethbridge, AB, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This position is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that promote Huixian Global Education Group’s programs, events, and international education initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating promotional materials, managing content for digital channels, assisting with event planning and logistics, and tracking campaign performance. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across platforms, support recruitment and outreach activities, and maintain marketing calendars and project timelines. The role also involves gathering market insights, preparing reports, and contributing creative ideas to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional Writing for marketing materials and digital content.
  • Proven Sales and outreach abilities to support recruitment, partnerships, and promotion of programs and events.
  • Experience in Event Planning and coordination, including organizing education fairs, information sessions, and cultural exchange activities.
  • Effective Project Management skills to handle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders in a structured and organized manner.
  • Relevant work experience in sales, IoT, digital marketing, agentic workflow implementation, business development or demonstrated work experience in related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms; ability to analyze basic marketing metrics and prepare reports.
  • Strong intercultural awareness and interest in international education and cultural exchange; experience in education or nonprofit sectors is an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual professional working proficiency in business settings: Mandarin and English

Nice to Have

  • Background in education, history, humanities, cultural exchange, and art
  • Community building experience in a foreign country, with demonstrated ability of multi-lingual stakeholders engagement (e.g. Chinese, English, French, etc.)
