Position Summary
Thales is seeking a dynamic and innovative Autonomous Systems Specialist to develop defense-oriented solutions. The successful candidate will develop and demonstrate new capabilities with air, surface and sub-surface vehicles.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Transform user requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop designs that meet technical specifications.
- Assist in implementing and validated the developed products.
Minimum Qualifications
.
- 2 years’ experience designing and developing autonomous systems.
- Capacity and drive to continuously learn & apply new technologies and methods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with platforms, sensors, communication systems and standards for autonomous systems.
- Knowledge of AI, and the ability to articulate its strengths and weaknesses in terms of mission impacts/success to Customers and End Users.
- Licensed and experienced in the operation of drones in the air, on the surface, and under the surface.
Special Position Requirements
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Schedule: On Call
- Physical Environment: Hybrid Work Arrangement – working remotely from home and some time will be required in the office
- Travel: Light
