Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Brand and Operations Manager, the E-commerce Coordinator supports the digital execution and day-to-day operations of two brands: Viita and la Vie en Rose. The role focuses on assisting with content updates, website management, digital marketing initiatives, and internal coordination. The E-commerce coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of digital activities across both websites and social platforms.
Main Responsabilities
Digital Content & Website Support
- Collaborate and provide briefs to update websites with homepage banners, collection pages, product pages, and seasonal campaigns ;
- Upload new products, enhance product descriptions, and optimize media assets (images, videos, color swatches, SEO metadata) for Viita ;
- Support the scheduling and launch of online promotions and digital merchandising activities ;
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure proper implementation and an optimal user experience ;
- Report minor bugs or UX inconsistencies and flag them to the appropriate team members ;
- Participate in trend monitoring and visual inspiration research.
Social Media & Email Marketing Support
- Schedule social media posts across various platforms based on editorial calendars (Viita) ;
- Assist in formatting and preparing visual assets for newsletters (Viita).
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Adapt campaign content templates and brand assets to be shared with international marketplaces;
- Update project management tools (Asana) and help maintain timelines and task trackers ;
- Prepare and update briefing documents for content and promotional tasks ;
- Follow up on deliverables with relevant internal teams ;
- Assist in compiling weekly and monthly e-commerce performance data.
Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain and respond to customer messages for Viita ;
- Maintain strong communication with internal departments (marketing, content, web, customer service) ;
- Provide proactive support to help anticipate team needs and streamline workflows across both brands.
Your profile
- Organized and coordination-oriented: You efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, track deliverables, and keep deadlines up to date with precision.
- E-commerce and digital content skills: You understand web best practices (SEO, UX, merchandising) and know how to optimize content for a smooth and engaging customer experience.
- Creativity and attention to visual detail: You have an eye for presenting content (banners, products, visuals) and ensure that every element reflects the brand’s image.
- Proactive collaboration and communication: You work in synergy with internal and external teams, share information effectively, and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent;
- 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce or online business;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and English (The person will have to collaborate with Partners outside of Quebec) ;
- Experience in retail (an asset) ;
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics (an asset) ;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite ;
- Strong interpersonal skills ;
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment ;
- Strong teamwork and results-oriented mindset ;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills ;
- Demonstrated leadership in proposing new ideas and solutions to improve processes ;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to overcome obstacles.
