Job description

The PHC RN is an integral member of the Meadow Lake primary health care team who

provides and coordinates initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to clients of the Meadow Lake Associate Clinic. The PHC RN functions within the population health promotion model while providing preventative, maintenance of wellness; and illness and injury prevention services. The PHC RN collaborates and makes appropriate referrals to other health care professionals, initiates and/or participates in community development initiatives and participates in the evaluation of PHC initiatives within the site.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
