Medicine Hat College’s Advancement & Community Relations Department is inviting applications for a full-time, temporary Administrative Assistant I position (leave coverage).
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Director, Community Engagement, the primary areas of responsibility for the Administrative Assistant, College Advancement (Administrative Assistant I) are to provide administrative support and serve as the front-line contact person for College Advancement. This position maintains an information database system that supports fund development, processes donations and receipts and supports events and activities to engage stakeholders.
Details:
As a successful applicant you'll have:
- An Administrative Office Professional Certificate or equivalent OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- 2 years office experience is required
- Previous experience in database maintenance is preferred
- Excellent communication, word processing and data entry skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Competence with Microsoft Office applications is essential
Terms of Employment
Hour Per Week: 35 hours per week
Appointment Term: February 17, 2026 – February 16, 2027
Wage: $20.92 per hour (Start Rate); $23.56 per hour (Job Rate)
