Career opportunity
Under the Supervisor’s direction, performs duties related to Receiving/Shipping and general warehouse functions. Function as back up in the absence of the supervisor.
What you’ll do
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for D/C employees, temps, and Contractors by following Company policy on H & S as well the “OHSA”
- Receives and allocates inventory in the warehouse.
- Picks orders and replenishes inventory as required.
- Completes and ships orders as required by established procedures.
- Train and supervise other employees, including temporary employees.
- Co-ordinate daily and weekly cycle counts
- Delegate responsibilities to employees to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and safety.
- Back up for the Supervisor.
- Contacts carrier and couriers for daily pick ups
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
