About the role

Please note that this vacancy is not part of Surrey County Council, we are advertising this on behalf of a partnership organisation. To support the local community, this vacancy is only open to Surrey residents. This is a 2-year apprenticeship position. This role has a salary range of £16,020 to £25,500 per annum based on a 40 hour working week. We are delighted to be hiring an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our fantastic Vision ERP Ltd team. The team is based in Wolverhampton, and this role is open to hybrid working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. Fundamentally this is about working practice and goes beyond the location in which we work – having the freedom and flexibility to work when and where as needed. As the Apprentice Business Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across business operations, finance, and organisational coordination within a fast-paced ERP environment. This apprenticeship offers structured learning and hands-on experience with enterprise software, financial processes, and internal systems, helping to build a strong foundation for a career in business administration.

Your Application In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills:

  • A genuine interest in business administration, finance, and ERP systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including examples of report writing or simplifying complex information
  • Strong organisational skills, with examples of managing tasks, time, or supporting meetings
  • IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A proactive attitude to learning and development, showing initiative and a willingness to grow.
