Product Analyst / Data Analyst: On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Product Analyst / Data Analyst for a 4-month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst - Job Description: We're looking for an experienced and data-driven Product Analyst to join our growing e-commerce team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our product strategy by transforming complex data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and operations to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure the impact of our product initiatives.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Define, track, and analyze key product-specific KPIs to support the development of robust business cases.
- Conduct opportunity sizing to quantify the potential impact of new features and product enhancements.
- Perform product attribution analysis to understand the influence of various touchpoints on user behavior.
- Design and implement comprehensive post-launch analytics frameworks to measure product effectiveness.
- Track performance against established goals and provide continuous reporting on product health and user engagement.
- Take ownership of the weekly product KPI reporting, ensuring accuracy and clear communication of insights.
- Support the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and other experiments to validate product hypotheses.
- Create and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using various analytics tools.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within an e-commerce environment.
- Proven experience defining and tracking product-specific KPIs to support business cases.
- Demonstrable expertise in post-launch analytics to measure product effectiveness.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (3+ years) for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience with A/B testing tools.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst – Assignment Length: This is a 4-month contract to start, ending in January 2026.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst - Start Date: ASAP.
Product Analyst / Data Analyst - Assignment Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This position is onsite, requiring 5 days per week at the office.
