Now Hiring: Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (#25-79)
Parkland County has an opportunity for a temporary, full-time Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations position in the Technology & Digital Services department until approximately December 2025, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Supervisor of Business/Technical Analysts, the Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring the Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O platform, and coordinating Microsoft upgrades and release packages associated with the system. This position will provide functional expertise to support, optimize and enhance D365 operation and the financial and operational processes relying on D365 F&O. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and business shareholders. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines is required. Technical support experience including code modifications, data refreshes, customizations and performing upgrades is considered an asset in this role.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Project Management Certification (PMP), MBA, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are considered assets.
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in system and application configuration, specifically with Microsoft and D365 platforms, with proven understanding of process & financial systems.
- The ability to identify business needs, provide effective solutions, deliver value and provide training to enhance end user experience.
- Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
- Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
An hourly rate of pay of $49.73 to $53.79, based on a 35-hour work week.
