About the role
Job Title: Skilled Labourer Job Summary We’re looking for a reliable and skilled labourer to assist with a short-term renovation project in an office environment. The work will involve general labour tasks such as light demolition, painting, installation support, and cleanup.
Responsibility
- Perform minor renovation tasks.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and materials as directed.
- Clean and tidy the work area, removing debris, dust, and construction materials.
- Conduct basic repairs or adjustments as needed under supervisor direction.
- Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
Required Skills/Experience
- Previous experience in light construction, renovation, or general labour preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
