We are currently seeking a Field Tech-Mobile support to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA). and the position is ONSITE.

Must have reliable personal transportation (Automobile) Must be able to be to obtain Restricted Area Id Card Job Description: Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) The Tech Bar Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance with Apple and Windows devices. This role requires a high-quality, customer-focused support experience by providing walk-up,appointment-based, and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. The specialist is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, configuring, and maintaining end-user technology while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Working in a fast-paced support environment, the Tech Bar Support Specialist manages hardware and software incidents, performs device provisioning and lifecycle management, and educates users on best practices and available technology solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise across the Apple and Microsoft ecosystems, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This position plays a critical role in enhancing employee productivity by delivering timely, professional, and reliable technology support while promoting a positive and engaging end-user experience consistent with a world-class IT service organization.

Basic Qualifications

Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on Desktops / Notebooks/ iPhones/ iMacs / Macbooks /iPads/ Performs basic troubleshooting on local and network Printers Configure, deploy, and support new Apple devices Assist end users with the following Apple ID and authentication issues iCloud-related functionality (where applicable) iOS, iPadOS, and macOS troubleshooting Device backups and restores Device backups and restores Email, Microsoft 365, Teams, VPN, and corporate applications Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and network connectivity Enroll and manage devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or Workspace ONE. Perform device health checks, software updates, and hardware diagnostics. Coordinate hardware repairs, warranty claims, and device replacements with authorized vendors. Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2/3 support teams when necessary. Maintain Tech Bar inventory, including devices, accessories, loaners, and peripherals. Educate users on Apple device features, security best practices, and corporate policies. Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through professional, timely, and friendly service. May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions. Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers. Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action. Typically requires 2-4 years relevant experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred. Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment. Solid client service skills. A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required. Ability to physically fulfil general office requirements. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $39/hour . Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for NTT DATA's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Discount Perks. #indist
