Position Status Permanent Part-Time
Highlights This is an opportunity to work one on one with (4) people with varying support needs, who are living as roommates/neighbours in a duplex in Vancouver. These shifts will allow you to work one on one with each person.
Duties And Responsibilities The position requires being out in the community, going for walks and supporting the people to live their everyday lives. The people you will be supporting enjoy doing activities including arts and crafts, and listening to and participating in music programs. Patience is essential in this role.
Reports To Manager
Rate Of Pay CSW: $24.50/hour to $26.65/hour
Probation 3 months
Driving Requirement Driving not required
Preferred Training Or Experience Training provided. Must be comfortable with personal care. Transfers, lifts & pushing wheelchair training will be included during the orientation process of the successful candidate.
Specific Training Or Experience Required
- Supporting People who get anxious
- Ability to motivate, encourage and engage the interests of others.
- Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage)
