About the role

The Production Team Leader supports the daily operations of their department by coordinating the work of their team and ensuring established procedures are followed. Acting as a key point of contact for employees, they foster a positive work environment and contribute to achieving safety, quality, and productivity objectives.

Working closely with the Production Supervisor, the Production Team Leader helps ensure activities are executed effectively, participates in resolving operational issues, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

A pivotal role in a large team

The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:

Ensure established work methods are followed. Manage workforce movement and staffing within their area. Plan daily work activities to meet the production schedule. Ensure CCT delivery standards are met at every stage. Identify and correct any immediate safety hazards. Represent, support, and promote the company's core values and management philosophy. Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To successfully meet this challenge, we are looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride with the following qualifications:

Experience in a similar role (an asset). Recognized leadership and people management skills. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb (23 kg). Ability to remain standing, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in a dusty environment with exposure to varying temperatures.

More Specifically

Starting wage: $23.36/hour

Evening shift premium: $2.00/hour Team Leader premium: $1.50/hour 40 hours/week Evening shift schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.
