About The Role Reporting to the Electrical Department Manager, the Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for completing electrical installations for a base build manufacturing project in Port Kells, BC, working Monday to Friday for 10 hours per day on the day shift. The contract will begin in January 2026 and conclude in May 2026. There may be an opportunity to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis afterward, depending on further assessments and team capacity.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Travel to a customer site in Port Kells, BC to complete base build electrical work;
- Ensure all executed work follows scope and meets quality standards;
- Maintain exceptional communication standards, setting clear expectations and guiding the customer experience throughout;
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including completing daily FLRAs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Journeyperson Electrician with industrial experience, a background in mentoring apprentices, strong customer service skills, and a focus on quality and safety. You’re committed to meeting customer needs, resilient in the face of challenges, and understand the value of teamwork in representing a skilled trades company. You demonstrate sound judgment, creative problem-solving, and are eager to contribute in a dynamic team environment while building strong relationships across the business.
Our Must Haves
- Red Seal Electrician certification;
- Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation;
- Experience working in commercial and/or industrial environments.
