About the role

The private seniors' residence Le Wellesley, located in Pointe-Claire, is looking for its next gem to fill a full-time administrative assistant position. We offer group insurance, telemedicine, an employee assistance program, and more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime Salary: To be discussed

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft and transcribe correspondence
  • He or she may also answer and distribute telephone calls, open and distribute mail, and respond to residents.
  • He or she may be called upon to collect rents, prepare deposits, renewals and modifications to leases.
  • Issues, when required, notices of late payment and makes arrangements to receive payments due and, failing this, makes the required legal arrangements.
  • May be called to meet with families if a dispute arises from billing
  • May be required to perform other related duties.
  • Monitor, compile and produce monthly reports
  • Perform data transfers, perform updates to different databases on Excel.
  • Produces pay-per-view billing for residents and for CISSS and CIUSSS and verifies that payments are made within the allotted time.
  • Update various administrative forms

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DEP or DEC in administration, accounting or office automation.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in office automation.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
  • Be autonomous, dynamic, have a sense of organization and teamwork. High level of customer service.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software
  • Knowledge of Hopem, Sensaas, Agile Synerion software an asset
