  • Conduct outreach in diverse community spaces to identify emerging newcomer needs and provide responsive support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with YMCA staff and other service providers to offer integrated, wraparound support to newcomer individuals and families.
  • Promote awareness of settlement services and supports through targeted outreach and engagement within diverse cultural communities.
  • Gather and share client feedback and community insights to inform continuous improvement of programs and services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of outreach activities, client interactions, and referrals using organizational tools and systems.
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all client and partner interactions.

Education and Skills Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a community or service center environment, preferably within settlement or newcomer support services.
  • Outreach and networking experience, including building and maintaining relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders to support client needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong professional networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to leverage community connections to enhance service delivery and client support.
