Are you eager to lead and innovate in a new nurse practitioner-led clinic, where you’ll manage diverse health conditions and promote overall wellness? Join us as our new Nurse Practitioner!
Reporting to the Manager, Student Health Services, this position provides the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a new, nurse practitioner-led clinic on the University of Regina campus. The NP will practice within a framework of evidence and trauma-informed interventions, holism, health promotion, and disease and injury avoidance. The practice involves working within the University of Regina strategic directions, objectives, guidelines, and policies and procedures and building partnerships that support and foster inter-professional collaboration and education.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) blends an in-depth expertise of nursing with their advanced scope of practice and autonomy by completing the following:
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and manage common and complex health conditions
- Promote health and prevent illness/injury
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other therapies
- Perform procedures, interventions and/or treatments.

Position Requirements
What You’ll Bring to this Position:
- Master’s degree in nursing and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Experience in a post-secondary academic institution would be an asset.
- Level C, Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Must have an unencumbered registered nursing license, or eligible for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS);
- A combination of education and experience may be considered

Demonstrates the use of evidence-informed practice and shared decision-making to develop a plan of care based on the client’s condition and values and preferences.

Understand the role and scope of other team members as it relates to safe, quality patient care.

Works collaboratively with agencies/organizations to promote quality patient care and positive health outcomes.

Demonstrates superior conflict management and de-escalation techniques.

Collaborate with inter-professional health care providers for optimal client outcomes; and,

Demonstrate culturally appropriate individual, family, and community-centered care.

Physical Demands Pay Grade APT 7 Salary Range $82,911 - $111, 895 annually Status Term Work Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 4:30 pm
