As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead, launch, and structure its estimating department.

e Your Ro leAs the Senior Estimator, you will play a strategic role in preparing, validating, and improving the company’s estimates, bids, and proposal s.The primary mandate of this position is to launch and structure the estimating department. Initially, you will be the primary person within the department and will be responsible for personally preparing project estimates, bids, and proposal s.You must be fully independent in reviewing plans, calculating quantities, preparing pricing, performing technical validation, communicating with the sales team, suppliers, and production department, and identifying project risks and exclusion s.As the volume of work increases, the position will evolve into a supervisory role. This will include developing work methods, bid templates, checklists, pricing standards, internal processes, and eventually training new estimator

mentsA minimum of 10 years of estimating experience in doors, windows, curtain walls, building envelopes, construction, or similar pro ductsRelevant education in estimating, architectural technology, civil engineering, building design, construction management, or another related fieldExcellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and ad dendaHands-on experience preparing bids for residential and/or commercial pro jectsStrong knowledge of door and window products, glazing, profiles, hardware, and performance require mentsAbility to manage multiple files and projects simultane ouslyStrong attention to detail, independence, leadership, and profession alismExcellent communication, coordination, and negotiation s killsBilingual proficiency in French and English is req uiredExperience with estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Logikal, or similar programs is a strong
