About the role
IT Project Manager (Expert) – Banking Sector Industry: Banking & Financial Services
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 50% onsite / 50% remote)
Start Date: 6 January 2026
Role Overview A leading organization in the banking sector is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support delivery within an Agile Tribe environment. You will work under the responsibility of an IT Tribe Lead and play a key role in ensuring successful project execution in a complex and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee deliveries across multiple Agile squads
- Ensure commitments are met regarding scope, quality, budget, and timelines
- Identify, manage, and remove delivery impediments
- Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory constraints, and internal policies
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders
- Produce delivery dashboards and KPIs
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Present progress, risks, and decisions at steering committees and governance meetings
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management
- Minimum 3 years working in an Agile environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
- Solid experience with Jira and Confluence
- Proven delivery management and stakeholder coordination skills
Education & Certifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Project Management, or Business Administration
- Agile Project Management certification
- Product Owner certification is a plus
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
