We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Quoting Specialist to join our international logistics team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive, accurate and timely freight quotes across air, ocean and ground modes. You will work closely with carriers, agents, and internal teams, including sales, operations and customs brokerage, to ensure our clients receive the best service and pricing options available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare freight rate quotes for international shipments (air, ocean, and ground).

Review client requests and analyze routing, transit time, and cost factors to build optimal solutions.

Work with the Pricing and Carrier Managers to ensure competitiveness.

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure quotes align with customer requirements and service capabilities.

Maintain accurate pricing data and carrier details in internal systems.

Track quote-to-booking conversions and support the sales team in identifying new opportunities.

Provide timely and professional communication to clients and colleagues.

Stay up to date on carrier surcharges, tariffs, and market rate trends.
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE DUTIES
- Actively participate in QHSETR programs and systems.
- Contribute to and foster transparent, direct communication, education, and customer service enhancement with the operations team and clients.
- Ensure that file details and supporting documentation facilitate efficient handovers to Operations and Accounting.
- Contribute to BBE’s continuous improvement and organizational efficiency goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics coordinator or pricing/quoting.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, Incoterms, and customs documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and freight management software (CargoWise).
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and meet tight deadlines.
- CIFFA or other logistics-related certification is considered an asset.
