Position Overview
The Corporate Communications Specialist will support the Corporate and Strategic Communications, Translation, and Events teams.
This an existing vacancy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic & organizational management
- Lead the coordination and distribution of tailored content for Branch management on a recurring cadence
- Ensure messaging is cascaded in alignment to the broader communications strategy
- Independently partner with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment to larger corporate initiatives
- Develop and organize content for communications vehicles such as in-person and virtual meetings and newsletters
- Manage and update internal SharePoint homepage to ensure content is timely and relevant and aligns to the Company’s strategic messaging
- Maintain content calendars and track deadlines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure on-time delivery
- Draft, edit, and proofread compelling internal communications content prior to translation
Administrative
- Layout copy to brand standard as needed
- Assist Events team with any organizational or operational activities, as needed
- Facilitate translation process between business groups, translation manager and vendors
Qualifications
- 5-7 years progressive communications experience (preferably in finance or wealth management)
- Creative and strategic thinker and self-starter who can work independently and proactively manage deliverables
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Meticulous organizational skills
- Ability to establish clear priorities quickly
- Experience with MS Office and SharePoint
- Design experience an asset
- Basic French proficiency an asset
Education
- BA in liberal arts or a related field such as Communications, Marketing, Journalism
- Canadian Securities Course an asset.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $70,000-85,000
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
Richardson offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a group RRSP matching plan and paid time off.
