Reporting to: Director, Flight Operations
Location: Calgary, McCall Hangar
Schedule: 12 hour shift (inclusive of 1 hour of unpaid breaks)
Starting Salary: $47,840
Closing Date: October 10, 2025

As an Operations Support Team , you play a key role in enabling our team to go above and beyond, working collaboratively to provide reliable and exceptional travel experience to our Owners each time they fly with us. You will ensure the continued 24-hour operation of AirSprint by maintaining such things as airplane supplies and commissary items, client requests, and regulatory documentation requirements.
In this role you will:
Ramp Duties
- Tow aircraft and stage on the ramp and in the hangar.
- Marshall aircraft on and off the ramp and provide ground power starts.
- Help the pilots with passenger luggage.
- Deliver passenger cars to the ramp.
- Anti-ice aircraft prior to flight.
- Plow snow off the ramp and parking lots.
- Shovel snow from walkways and entrances or client exposed areas.
Hangars
- Conduct a daily inspection of the hangar to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
- Empty garbage and ensure cleanliness of hangar floor.
- Inspect FOD of the ramp daily.
- Clear snow around entire facility.
- Ensure cleanliness and neatness of the commissary room.
- Restock the hangar and lobby fridge, ensuring it is clean and neat.
- Empty the dish washer and confirm all dishes/cutlery are back in commissary.
- Cut grass and complete general landscaping as required.
- Clean all equipment.
- Identify and report defective equipment.
- Complete minor facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs etc.
Aircraft Cleaning / Detailing
- Manage the aircraft cleanliness monitoring system for major cleaning and detailing for all company aircraft.
- Complete aircraft interior detailing daily and jet washing as required.
- Complete leading-edge polishing.
- Clean and wash aircraft if flight crew are on a minimum rest turn around.
Client Transportation
- Drive the shuttle for client pick ups and drop offs.
- Refuel client vehicles.
- Detail client cars.
Tracking Night Currency
- Track pilot night currency.
- Issue warning emails (copied to Duty, OPS), including second emails, if required.
- Supply Chief Pilot with weekly tracking report.
Aircraft Documentation
- Manage at all bases the dissemination of current aircraft documents and credit cards.
Aircraft Commissary
- Produce requirement lists and purchase for the Calgary base.
- List anything not available at night to be picked up during the day.
- Order required commissary and equipment as required from suppliers.
- Conduct regular aircraft audits and maintain aircraft commissary to a standard configuration.
- Manage and purchase client special commissary requirement items.
Flight Operations
- Provide flight crew with printouts of weather, NOTAMs, TFRs, etc., and any other assistance (such as picking up food), for aircraft on a quick turn in Calgary.
Flight and Duty Tracking
- Process Journey logs.
- Track errors.
- Input accurate flight and duty time information into tracking software and produce daily reports.
- Verify flight and duty compliance.
- File log sheets.
- Email pilots for missing Journey Log pages.
- Issue daily Flight Time and Duty Status email.
- Issue daily ‘List of JL Errors’ email.
- Notify the Director, Flight Operations and/or Chief Pilot if there is a duty issue requiring grounding a pilot, or of any other issues.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High school diploma.
- The ability to obtain and maintain Transport Canada Security Clearance and RAIC pass.
- Valid Class 5 Driver License and clean driver abstract.
To transition to Flight Line, you will also have:
- College Aviation Diploma or Equivalent.
- Commercial Pilots License.
- Multi Engine and Multi Engine IFR Ratings.
- IATRA Exam shall be completed prior to transfer to flight line
