Career Opportunity and Primary Roles / Responsibilities
As aV&V Specialist, you will be responsible for testing and validating complex electronic systems. Your daily tasks will include:
- Performing validation and verification tests on electronic systems, high-speed communications (20 GHz+), and radio frequencies (RF)
- Automating tests using Python
- Working with serial interfaces and protocols such as RS-485/422/232, I2C, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire, and Gigabit Ethernet
- Using instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and waveform generators
- Verifying design requirements and performing environmental tests (vibration, vacuum, thermal)
Required Competencies
- Engineering degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic system validation.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) is an asset.
Miscellaneous Requirements
- Work arrangement: Hybrid : 3 days on site
Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.
