Summary Of The Role As a Research Manager at YouGov Canada, you’ll oversee and manage custom research projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for developing research proposals, managing the data collection process, analyzing findings, and presenting them to clients. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure research aligns with client expectations while delivering high-quality results on time and within scope.

- Lead and manage custom research projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
- Develop research proposals and design methodologies tailored to client needs.
- Manage data collection, analysis, and interpretation of findings.
- Present research findings clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects meet client expectations.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting their growth and development.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing custom research projects, focusing on quantitative studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in advanced statistical techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Nice to haves
- Experience with syndicated data platforms.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce).
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., SPSS, R, SQL).
- Exposure to qualitative research methodologies.
- Prior experience in mentoring or managing teams.
- Bilingual (English and French) is a plus.
