Job Title Marketing Manager for Canada Job Description Scope and Accountability: The Marketing Manager - Canada will report to the Associate Director of Marketing and will own hands-on demand generation and integrated marketing delivery for a defined market or product (Canada). The Marketing Manager - Canada will be personally accountable for planning, executing and optimising marketing activity that drives recruitment demand and supports operational needs. Core Responsibilities: Personally plan, execute and optimise integrated marketing activity for Canada, aligned to Product and customer experience strategy Drive demand through direct ownership of campaigns (always-on or hero), content briefs, local activations and events Work closely day‑to‑day with recruitment teams, in‑destination stakeholders and operational teams to ensure marketing activity is practical and operationally aligned Lead delivery of campaigns, events and content programmes, remaining actively involved from brief through execution and optimisation Produce clear briefs, review outputs, and coordinate Content, Campaign, Social, Digital and Events teams to deliver joined‑up activity Actively track performance metrics, analyse results and make hands‑on optimisation decisions to improve outcomes Ways of Working, Autonomy and Decision Making: Operates as a hands‑on marketing lead, balancing strategic intent with direct delivery responsibility Owns day‑to‑day prioritisation, execution decisions and optimisation within agreed strategy and budgets Works closely and pragmatically with recruitment and central marketing teams Escalates strategic, resourcing or performance risks to the Associate Director as appropriate Essential Criteria/Skills: Proven experience in a hands-on marketing role delivering integrated campaigns and local activation Familiarity with GenAI workflows and marketing automation. Strong campaign execution capability, including events and on‑the‑ground marketing activity Experience working closely with recruitment, operations or service delivery teams Ability to brief, manage and quality‑check work across multiple marketing disciplines High level of operational awareness and ownership mindset Strong performance tracking and optimisation skills, with confidence in making data‑led adjustments in real time for a defined market or product. Accountable for translating market and customer experience strategy into effective, locally relevant marketing activity that supports recruitment and in‑residence operational needs. Our Working Environment As a key member of the Marketing team, you will join a collaborative, mission-driven group focused on supporting global student success. Based in Canada, this role operates primarily remotely, with opportunities to meet in person with colleagues, university partners, and teams across the U.S. and Canada. You will work closely with Student Recruitment teams to ensure strong alignment between marketing strategy and regional enrolment priorities.
