Launch your tech career with FDM – any degree welcomed.
Your degree got you here—your passion can take you further. Start a tech career that’s dynamic, analytical, and impactful. As an FDM Quality Engineering Consultant, you’ll work with global companies across banking, consulting, retail, insurance, and more. You’ll add big names to your resume while gaining hands-on experience from day one.
Serving a wide variety of industries, we offer a defined, hands-on pathway into Quality Engineering. You’ll build cross-functional skills, learn leading testing frameworks, and help deliver high‑quality digital products. Through industry‑relevant coaching and real-world assignments, we help you grow into a confident, business-ready Quality Engineer.
We match your strengths to the right role. Opportunities could include, but are not limited to:
Quality Engineer
Ensure world-class product quality by combining manual testing, automation frameworks, and systemic thinking. You’ll:
- Test applications manually and with industry tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and REST-Assured
- Work across QA, staging, and production environments
- Analyze risk, design test strategies, and collaborate with developers and product teams
- Build automated test suites that integrate into CI/CD pipelines
- Support releases, monitor quality metrics, and help prevent defects before they occur
A great Quality Engineer proactively designs systems and strategies to ensure holistic quality across the entire product lifecycle. Strong QEs combine manual and automation testing, understand environment flows, and excel in collaboration and ownership—often overlapping with SDETs to build quality in from the start.
Career progression often moves from Quality Engineer → Quality Architect or SDET or Software Engineer, with top profiles demonstrating expertise in automation frameworks, API & integration testing, DevOps tooling, and strong communication skills.
