Production Pasteurizer
About the role
This is a very exciting time for the team as we continue to grow and expand! The main challenge is to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and maintain proper and efficient operation of all pasteurizing, blending, separating, and product transfer systems.

Ability to safely operate a forklift.

You are knowledgeable about HACCP guidelines and CIP programs.
EXPERIENCE
-
High school diploma and/or relevant dairy experience
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated dairy or food manufacturing environment
-
Knowledge of sanitary habits, CIP systems of all tanks, line circuits, and associated equipment.
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
-
Closely monitor the dairy production process and follow Standard Operating Procedures for batching and processing products.
-
Blends, mixes, and prepares products for production.
-
Operate and understand all CIP programs.
-
Deliver product to fillers to avoid downtime on production lines.
-
Secure necessary connections to tanks
-
Operate all processors.
-
Coordinate, report and notify the foreman /quality if there is a deviation.
-
Completes paperwork and records.
-
Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMP’s, SOP’s and Quality standards.
-
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
-
Must be able to work in a physical environment (walking, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, up/downstairs) for long periods of time.

Frequently exposed to wet, cold, hot or humid conditions/temperatures associated with a manufacturing environment, moving mechanical parts, forklifts

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

May have some exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Perform corrective machine adjustments.

Record production information
-
Clean machines and immediate work areas
-
Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
-
Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
