Hourly Teachers - Microsoft Network and Security Administrator (Fall 2025)
The College is seeking hourly paid professors to join a dynamic team to teach credited courses ONSITE within Continuing Education in the Fall of 2025.
**All courses will be taught from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
420-M45-HR Hardware Essentials
(September 2nd, 2025 to September 22nd, 2025)
Students learn key elements of computer hardware. They will examine the components that a PC is made up of as well as the terminologies associated with hardware components. During the course students will be able to identify each device and learn troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems.
420-M46-HR Operating Systems Essentials
(September 23rd, 2025 to October 8th, 2025)
Students will build on the knowledge they gained from the hardware course. During this course they will learn what an operating system is as well as the various types that exist. Troubleshooting operating system errors is key for any support technician, so that is a focus on this course.
420-M47-HR Networking Fundamentals
(October 9th, 2025 to October 27th, 2025)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about networks. In this course, students learn various network infrastructures as well as terminologies. Students will be able to identify the key components of wireless and wired networks.
420-M48-HR Mobility and Device Fundamentals
(October 28th, 2025 to November 7th, 2025)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about mobility and mobile devices. In this course, students learn various mobile technologies.
420-M49-HR Cloud Fundamentals
(November 10th, 2025 to November 20th, 2025)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about cloud computing. Students will learn key cloud services and terminology, Microsoft cloud services, Microsoft Office 365 and Intune administration, and the ability to use, configure, or support parts of other key Microsoft technologies for cloud services including SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive accounts, general journal entries, processing business transactions, paying suppliers, depositing customers’ payments, and calculation of tax.
420-T20-HR Installing and Configuring Windows Client
(November 21ST, 2025 to December 11th, 2025)
This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to install and configure Windows 10 desktops and devices in a Windows Server domain corporate environment. These skills include learning how to install and customize Windows 10 operating systems and apps, and configure local and remote network connectivity and storage.
420-T21-HR Deploying and Managing Windows Client
(December 12th, 2025 to January 13th, 2026)
Students learn how to plan and implement Windows 10 deployments in large organizations. Students also learn how to manage the Windows 10 installations after deployment to provide secure identity and data access using technologies related to Group Policy, Remote Access, and device registration.

ROLE SUMMARY
In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes, adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request and other activities when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or a combination of other relevant diplomas or certifications in a pertinent field is required, and a combination of industry experience related to the courses being taught.
- To have some teaching experience would be considered an asset.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to:
- Create a dynamic, challenging, and motivated learning environment.
- Adapt to a variety of needs and provide appropriate online support.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
