Purpose of the Role:: Reporting to the Director, Asset Management Operations, the Analyst, Asset Management Operations, will lead configuration, testing and other implementation activities. In this dynamic position, the Analyst, Asset Management Operations, plays a pivotal role in driving forward a key strategic initiative of Nicola Wealth, the implementation of SimCorp. Key responsibilities include implementation of requirements, data management, testing and collaborating with key stakeholders. The analyst defines and documents processes and policies, ensures alignment with SimCorp Dimension modules for trading, reporting, and investment operations, and leads system configuration to accurately map workflows.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review and implementation of functional, operational, and regulatory requirements as it relates to SimCorp.
  • Define requirements for functional use cases, ensuring alignment with SimCorp Dimension modules (IBOR/ABOR, trading workflows, reporting).
  • Lead system configuration and customization for relevant modules to ensure accurate mapping of business processes.
  • Develop functional test cases and execute testing across workflows to confirm that end user requirements are met.
  • Analyze data flows, extract, clean, validate and import data from various legacy systems, at the highest level of accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, policies and procedures, training materials, and support guides for business users.
  • Work with all investment teams on research projects and other duties as assigned from time-to-time based on changing business environment and priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Simcorp software systems (front/middle/back office) is an asset.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills, and financial industry systems and tools.  Experience with Bloomberg would be considered an asset.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a base salary range of $ 70,000 - $95,000 plus a competitive performance bonus. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
