About the role

About the Role: We have a current opening for a Maintenance Manager and are actively reviewing applications.

Step into a leadership role where your maintenance expertise and people leadership directly drive production excellence. The Maintenance Manager oversees all equipment maintenance and reliability to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role leads preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervises maintenance teams, and partners cross functionally to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Maintenance Manager ensures alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, and EHS protocols, while supporting capital projects, budgeting, and strategic planning.

This role will report to the Head of Maintenance for our Brantford facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of approximately 70; including Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians within several large production areas
  • Ensure equipment reliability to meet production schedules, quality, and efficiency targets
  • Lead and manage preventive maintenance programs and maintenance planning
  • Oversee supervisory leadership, ensuring alignment of teams, priorities, and performance
  • Manage maintenance records, spare parts, inventory, and cost controls
  • Analyze performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, purchasing, and reliability teams
  • Work with vendors and contractors; support budget and capital investment activities
  • Drive continuous improvement using LEAN and operational excellence principles
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance policies, procedures, and training

About You:

  • 4-7 years leading large industrial maintenance teams on a large scale
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and production processes
  • Experience in people leadership, coaching, and performance management
  • Solid understanding of business, resource planning, and cost benefit decision making
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to monitor performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - 160,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
