What you will do

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources needs across Corporate Functions.This role is a 12-month contract.

In this role, you will:

• Support Corporate Director, HR & HR Manager with HRBP related work
• Administer internal approval process for salaried employee transactions ensuring HRIS (JD Edwards) is updated and maintained.
• Act as a key liaison between Human Resources and Payroll, ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of payroll information
• Support various HR Programs (i.e. Benefit Programs, Employee Perks Program, Employee Recognition Program, Company Car Program, Cell Program, leave management, etc.)
• HR Data Reporting – monthly and quarterly basis
• Deploy & tracks all mandatory company-wide e-learning programs to salaried employees including onboarding.
• Administer onboarding process for new salaried employees within Corporate Function Teams including enrollments, training, and HRIS entry.
• Prepare and issue employment and reference letters, manage and reconcile vacation records, and administer the Milestone Reward Program by coordinating employee gifts with vendors.
• Be an active member of the Joint Health and Safety committee, develop meeting agendas, coordinate member training and events, conduct regular health and safety inspections

What you will bring

• University or College degree (in Business, preferably Human Resources)
• Obtained or working towards CHRP designation
• 2-3 years of experience in an HR capacity
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with Workday
• You will be a trusted partner to the business, operating with professionalism and confidentiality

The starting range for this role is $70,000-$85,000 – or higher, depending on your experience.
