Position Details
The Manager, Curriculum and Academic Scheduling Officer plays a key role in supporting the ongoing development, operations, reporting, and quality assurance of Dhillon’s undergraduate programs. This position reports to and supports the work of the Associate Dean, Dhillon School of Business. The Dean’s Office Reception/Administrative support reports to the position.
Specific responsibilities include:

Develop the academic timetable, including staffing for the Faculty, as well as working to streamline related processes through the use of technology

Review curriculum, admission, and academic policy changes, and manage the corresponding approval processes internal to the University

Prepare and revise materials for external approvals for new programs and curriculum;

Work with stakeholders to manage operational processes such as grade appeals, scholarship applications, incomplete grade requests, textbook orders, enrolment monitoring, and related reporting.

Perform data analysis and reporting related to courses and student learning internal to DSB for planning and continuous improvement activities as requested

Research programs at other institutions as well as market demand to help guide new and revised programs and courses

Member of the DSB Executive Committee and other University Committees

Serve as a resource person for continuous improvement initiatives related to curriculum
Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will be stakeholder focused, highly motivated, enthusiastic about technology, and thrive in an environment that values collaboration, initiative, creativity, and concern for quality education.
- A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business. A graduate degree would be an asset.
- Previous experience in a post-secondary institutional setting is desirable
- Previous experience in scheduling and staffing is desirable
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience would be an asset
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- High level of computer literacy ins required, along with a passion to learn and deploy technology to streamline operational processes
- Strong interpersonal and spoken communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills to complete various tasks with competing deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills
- Comfort with descriptive analysis and presentation of numerical data
- Good analytical and research skills
- Good presentation skills
- Previous teaching experience would be an asset
We will begin reviewing applications on May 10th and continue until the position is filled or June 30th, whichever comes first.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$65,153.16 - $81,963.08 annually
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$65,153.16 - $98,772.99 annually (APO - Grade 3)
