Trade & Pricing Analyst job opening in Markham, ON
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical marketplace is seeking a Trade & Pricing Analyst to join their team on a 12-month temporary basis with strong potential for extension. About the Role Reporting to the Trade & Pricing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting pricing strategies, promotional programs, and customer-related commercial initiatives. You will work closely with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate execution, reporting, and analysis that supports revenue growth and business performance.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the execution of pricing updates, promotional programs, and trade activities Support customer agreement administration, documentation, and approval tracking Analyze program and customer performance, including rebates, accruals, and financial metrics Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making Contribute to pricing analysis for product launches and promotional opportunities Support data validation, reporting accuracy, and maintenance of pricing systems Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with internal policies and commercial guidelines Assist with audits, documentation requests, and record management Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams Support ongoing process improvements and internal documentation
Qualifications & Experience At least 1-2 years’ experience in pricing, revenue management, finance Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Statistics, or related discipline Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with data Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting); experience with dashboards required Experience with Power BI or similar tools is considered an asset Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Audit-ready mindset Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
