About the role
Welcome employees and independent contractors! Position: Full-time, permanent, stable, long-term Start date: As soon as possible Reporting to the Driver/Delivery Supervisor, you will make deliveries to our clients (food stores, grocery stores, supermarkets).
Assigned refrigerated truck.
Responsibilities
- Daily inspection of your truck (pre-trip inspection);
- Inspection of your cargo (loaded the previous day by the order pickers according to your routes) and departure;
- Lifting loads, moving boxes manually;
- Moving pallets using a manual or electric pallet jack;
- Delivering orders to customers according to your assigned routes; Dock-to-dock and manual;
- Establish respectful and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues;
- Communicate information effectively and professionally.
Work Schedule
- Four (4) days per week for 45-50 hours
- Tuesday to Friday (Monday off)
Desired Profile
- Early riser, shift starts between 3:00 and 4:30 a.m.;
- Good physical condition essential;
- Drive safely;
- Punctual, reliable, resourceful, responsible, and hardworking;
- Works well both independently and as part of a team Team.
Training And Skills
- Class 1 driver's license;
- Good driving record;
- Experience with delivery and handling using a tailgate;
- Experience operating a forklift and jigger;
- Fluency in spoken and written French; English preferred;
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
