Position Summary We’re looking for a professional, motivated, and safety conscious individual to join our Maintenance department, in a permanent, full-time Maintenance Technician II position. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the maintenance of the FS2 Folder. Outside of the FS2 Folder they would assist other machinery, equipment, and the facility. Responsible for preparing automation, robotic, and electronic repair to allow appropriate flow for Production. This includes providing preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostic, and troubleshooting services on a variety of production equipment and building systems. This position at times may also perform project work on an as-needed basis for new installations and customizations on existing equipment to improve manufacturing efficiencies.
What You’ll Do
- Minimize production downtime by completing preventive maintenance inspections, planned work orders, and responding to breakdowns and emergency repairs in an expedited and efficient manner
- Ensure high standards of workmanship quality are delivered to prevent manufacturing equipment breakdowns
- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform preventative and routine maintenance for various equipment and machinery and respond to emergency breakdowns
- Read and interpret job orders, specifications, schematic drawings, written maintenance procedures, and other print or electronic material to properly conduct required job tasks
- Assess urgency of repair work and expedite emergency and critical repairs
- Effectively provide mechanical maintenance support to the day-to-day operations when not required on FS2 Folder.
- Monitor applicable systems and machines for acceptable performance
- Adhere to all established policies and procedures with respect to operations, health & safety, and security

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma/GED
- Automation and Robotics, or Electrical Diploma and/or certification preferred
- Driver’s License, Forklift License, Aerial Platform / Fall Arrest, WHMIS
- Minimum of three years’ experience: most notably in industrial, mechanic and manufacturing
- Minimum of two years' experience working with Automation and Robotics
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy regarding time and organizational management
- Intermediate skills in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Skills in Automation and Robotic technology, with skills with electrical work
