Aplin has partnered with a well-established downtown Edmonton law firm to recruit an experienced Commercial Paralegal. For the right candidate, the firm is open to a 4-day work week—a rare opportunity in today's legal market.

Previous experience handling commercial lending transactions is required.
Responsibilities
Manage commercial lending and purchase/sale files from open to close, including diary management, closing dates, reporting documentation, and file organization. Obtain searches and complete registrations with the Land Titles Office, Personal Property Registry, and Tax Registries. Draft, assemble, and organize commercial lending and purchase/sale documentation. Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions transactions. Prepare and distribute monthly account statements to clients. Open and maintain files and provide general administrative support as required. Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
