About the role
The Marketing Science Lead will lead the measurement, attribution, and optimization of marketing efforts, delivering insights that drive smarter, data-informed decisions. This strategic role blends Marketing Science, data modelling and visualization, and business strategy to elevate marketing performance.
Key responsibilities include leading the creation and design of Marketing Analytics dashboards in Tableau to help stakeholders track key metrics, and applying advanced methodologies to optimize spend, boost incremental revenue, and improve campaign outcomes.
The ideal candidate will foster a data-driven culture, and collaborate cross-functionally to define performance objectives and guide ongoing efforts towards greater data maturity within the organization.
As a key contributor to the evolution of marketing measurement, this role will drive innovation and co-lead the implementation of an Advanced Marketing ROI Model with the Director of Growth Analytics.
HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT
Vancouver-based and Toronto-based team members work in-office every other week (Tues–Thurs). Core attendance is required from 9 AM – 3 PM on these days to support business priorities.
A DAY IN THE LIFE

Partner with internal stakeholders to define deliverables and roadmaps related to campaign measurement criteria, advanced analytics features, and mROI frameworks.

Provide deep analytical support through advanced modeling techniques (e.g. Regression/Causal Inference) to evaluate Marketing performance.

Deliver clear, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize marketing efforts and improve mROI in support of Campaign post-mortem analyses.

Proactively identify trends and communicate key findings in a concise and compelling way through effective data solutions.

Innovate by introducing new tools, measurement methodologies, and best practices in Marketing Science.

Develop and maintain advanced predictive models and support forecasting processes.
-
Lead the design and development of internal and external reports and dashboards to support daily operations and high-level strategic initiatives.

Own the internal Marketing data stack, ensuring functionality and data integrity.

Collaborate with Digital Analytics, BI and Data Engineering team members to implement business requirements and leverage new data sources for Marketing Science.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or related field.
-
7+ years of proven experience in data modeling, predictive analytics and/or Marketing performance measurement.

Intermediate data transformation skills using SQL and/or Python.
-
Hands-on experience with statistical models/packages (e.g. SciKit-Learn, Statsmodels, XGBoost).
-
Strong understanding of experiment design, regression analysis, and causal inference methods.
-
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) and building data products.
-
Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, or DBT nice to have.

Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary $105,000 to $130,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
