Infasco Nut, a Mississauga Automotive Company, is looking for a Nut former who will operate and adjust Cold forming equipment to produce parts that respect the highest standards in the automotive industry!

Salary :

• Starting wage at29.57$/h;
• 31.21$/h after 240 days of work;
• 32.85$/h after 480 days of work.

Work Schedule: 3 Shift operations (day, afternoon and night) - 40 hours per week

• Afternoon shift – 1.15$/h premium
• Night shift – 1.35$/h premium

We are looking for people available on a rotative schedule, 2 weeks each shift.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day tool setup and operation of multi-stage cold forming equipment, wire drawers, and inspection of equipments (mechanical skills are a major asset);
• Monitor part dimensions and quality of product using assigned measuring devices;
• Make machine adjustment to maintain part quality within customers tolerance specifications;
• Complete and submit required daily production report at the completion of each job;
• Respect safety standards at all times;
• All other related task.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Previous manufacturing experience working with large machinery (mandatory);
• Experience in steel transformation and mechanical skills (major asset);
• Capability to stand, walk and perform physical task on extended periods;
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a daily basis;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
• Licensed Forklift operator with abilities to run a Fork Truck (an asset);
• Willingness to adapt to change in schedule and priorities.
