The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credit Operations Assistant in Coquitlam, British Columbia to join our team for a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team, this role will provide administrative support across a variety of credit and customer account functions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to credit, collections, customer service, and business operations while contributing to day-to-day departmental activities and special projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Credit Operations Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

Updating and maintaining customer account information and records Conducting customer outreach by phone and email to support account maintenance activities Assisting with invoice copy requests and documentation management Performing data entry, record updates, and data cleanup activities Supporting departmental projects and process improvement initiatives Escalating customer concerns or issues requiring further review Assisting with customer portal administration and account maintenance Providing general administrative support to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team Completing other duties and special projects as assigned

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong customer service skills and a professional approach to communication Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

The hourly pay range for this role is: $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
