To be successful in Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems, this team member will have proven experience in the following areas in a complex, high-volume environment; preferably in the professional services industry:

HRIS Configuration and Implementation: Configure, implement and enhance system modules as a Workday SME, including ongoing improvements, to align with organizational and People & Culture operational objectives.

Collaboration and Process Enhancement: Work directly with the People Services Team, collaborate with the broader People and Culture community, and engage with Finance/IT team members for employee transactional process reviews and enhancements within Workday.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify and deliver enhancements to the everyday experience of all colleagues using Workday.

Expertise and Contribution: your expertise in Workday configuration and analytics will be invaluable. Your enthusiasm, client-focused service, and ability to critically review and improve existing systems and processes contribute to a seamless self-serve colleague experience.
As a Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems your responsibilities will include:

Maintain organization foundational data in Workday, including department and location data, position management, compensation administration data, performance management data, etc.

A subject matter expert to the firm by regularly leveraging/expertly finding solutions and improvements in Workday Community on current and upcoming areas of Human Capital Management (HCM) module.

Develop and maintain a range of Workday reports (simple to complex), including matrix and composite reports using Workday Report Writer and Report Designer

Configure Workday business processes (including notifications, conditional rules, related documents, etc.) and identify opportunities for enhancement and simplification that align with Workday’s methodology.

Maintain & design People Analytics Dashboards in PowerBI and/or Workday, dependent on the stakeholder requirements or business needs.

Ensure data integrity within Workday and downstream systems through audit processes and analyses.

Collaborate with People & Culture and Data Analytics team to determine best methods, tools and techniques for data collection and analysis.

Support system upgrades, new HRIS releases, testing, validation, and overall performance analysis.

Provide support in the creation and update of training and process documentation for changes to HRIS procedures.

Monitor the HRIS mailbox, promptly respond to internal and external customers, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Identify opportunities for greater automation while keeping in mind a great service to our employees and stakeholders.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be an Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems/Human Resources or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in HRIS management, of which a least 2 years of functional/technical Workday HCM module experience required for employee data maintenance.
- Advanced Excel experience working with large data sets utilizing advanced formulas and functionality (i.e. using pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
- Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer.
- Advanced experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Workday Discover Boards.
- Strong understanding of People and Culture (HR) functional areas in relation to HRIS.
- Experience troubleshooting end-user and systems interface issues and HRIS in a mid- to large-sized organization.
- Demonstrate the qualities of a self-starter and one who follows through on all job duties and has a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well and collaborate in hybrid team environment.
- Strong time management, project planning, and communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Professional services industry and a Centre of Excellence environment is preferred.
