About the role

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Team Lead, Resident Relations, the Coordinator is responsible for the data management, analytics, and administrative duties within the Resident Relations team. The Coordinator acts as a support resource for the Resident Relations Specialists who are the primary liaison between residents and Circular Materials to respond to residential recycling inquires across five provinces and territories.

Professional skills and experience with data management, Excel, CRM systems, apps, GIS mapping, and documenting business process are required for success in this role.

This position requires residency in Canada, along with legal eligibility to perform Canadian work by way of Canadian citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid Work Permit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and analyze best practices in resident support and customer service based on the incoming data and make recommendations on how these best practices can be incorporated into the program.
  • Participate in projects and assist in the development of project work plans, timelines, and summary reports as needed.
  • Maintain information and analytics within Circular Materials’ Recycling App and customer relations management (CRM) software.
  • Support strategic initiatives with relevant data and analysis.
  • Manage and clean contractor logs from across the country to input into our CRM system.
  • Keep current on recycling best practices and legislation in provinces in which we operate.
  • Support with GIS mapping of zones withing communities across the country.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure the organization and its vision, mission and values are consistently presented and demonstrated in a strong and positive image to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead by example in establishing and driving organizational culture; consistently model the organizational values.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Post secondary education in a Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Geography, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years in a similar role in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • An understanding of both Circular Materials operated and municipal recycling programs to educate residents, internal team members etc. about CM programs.
  • Excellent English communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong competency with MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • GIS mapping experience.
  • App experience.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • All CM employees work 40 hours per week, remotely from a home office environment.
  • Our team supports residents across the country through staggered shift schedules covering multiple time zones, with standard shifts covering 8-hour days, between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET.
