**POSITION TITLE:**Documentation Technician
**LOCATION:**Collingwood
MacLean Engineering is looking for an energetic entry levelDocumentation Technicianto add to the existing skills of our Technical Publications team inCollingwood, ON. **About the Position:**The Documentation Technician is responsible for printing and publishing Parts Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, and Operator’s Guides. As well as laminating drawings and schematics for customer orders and may be required to publish interactive parts documentation on the MacLean-Documoto portal. The following proficiencies are required:
- Create assigned Maintenance Manuals from an extensive library of Maintenance Bulletins (MBs).
- Print, bind, and ship all Operator’s, Parts, and Maintenance Manuals.
- Arrange the delivery of all documentation according to shipping dates.
- Convert AutoCAD/DraftSight and SolidWorks drawings for import into MacLean Documoto.
- Import all documentation into the MacLean Documoto online documentation and integrated parts system
- Manage documentation shipments directly to customers and to MacLean’s global manufacturing facilities.
- Update the Technical Publications Production Log with completed shipments and related information.
- Meeting assigned goals and delivery metrics.
About You**:**The successful candidate(s) must be willing to learn, open-minded and flexible, organized and detail oriented, team oriented, disciplined, and must have a positive attitude, along with the following qualifications:
- Degree or College Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Inventory & Distribution Management, or a related field.
- Bilingualism (French or Spanish) is a definite asset but is not required.
- Previous relevant work experience in either Parts Ordering, Engineering, Inventory Management, or Publications.
- Aptitude for Hydraulic, Mechanical, and Electrical control systems.
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or DraftSight, Solidworks, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Babble-Fish and Deepl or similar Translation Software. Experience with MadCap Flare would be helpful.
